The Roof Restoration Process

Inspection: We begin with a thorough inspection of the roof to identify any damage, missing tiles, or other issues such as moss and lichen growth. This step helps us understand the extent of the restoration required and tailor our approach accordingly.
Cleaning: A high-pressure wash (minimum of 4000 PSI) is used to remove dirt, moss, lichen, and any previous coatings. This ensures a clean surface, ready for the new coating.
Repairs:We replace any damaged or cracked tiles and repair faults such as loose ridge caps or rusted valley irons. Metal roofs are treated for rust and corrosion, and all necessary repairs are made to ensure a solid foundation for the coating application.
Sterilisation: In cases of fungal or algal growth, we apply Acratex PrepTreat™ to sterilise the surface before recoating, ensuring the new coating adheres effectively and lasts longer.
Priming: A primer or sealer is applied depending on the type and condition of your roof. This step enhances adhesion and maximises the longevity of the topcoat.
Roof Membrane Application: Finally, we apply two coats of roof membrane in either satin or gloss finish. The membrane provides excellent protection against the elements, UV stability, and colour retention.
